Shaping the future of the game in the United States and Canada, the United Soccer League (USL) – one of the most successful professional soccer organizations in the world – announced in 2017 it would launch a new third division – USL League One in spring 2019, uniting passionate fans in new markets with the thrill of a proven professional soccer experience.

The United Soccer League (USL) today announced on October 8, 2024 that Corpus Christi Professional Soccer has been awarded the rights to a USL League One franchise. Led by Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo, Corpus Christi Professional Soccer will become the city’s first professional soccer team and only independent professional sports organization in the Coastal Bend. 

Corpus Christi Sports Complex is pleased to be the official home of the Corpus Christi Professional Soccer team. This team will start play in the spring of 2026
